Several good, i.e. moving moments, and the general atmosphere is one of threat and insecurity.
A good idea to tackle rape, but especially the ending is poorly written, totally conventional. One would have expected more from a female writer, but it seems the Spelling guidelines ruled supreme.
The women on display are very sexy, so we get an impression as to what motivates the other side.
Interestingly, I submitted wildly differing reviews in 1995 and 1999 respectively:
"Strong anti-rape potboiler, skilfully made. (Pointless) ending features (a couple of) dancers." –
"More plotholes and senseless chattering than one would care to count."
